Against the pollution of the oceans, Studio KCA, a studio in New York, installed a 5-ton whale sculpture measuring 11.5 meters high in the middle of a canal in the city of Bruges.
The statue is entirely made of plastic waste collected in the Atlantic Ocean and Pacific. The project was part of the Bruges Triennale around the theme “Liquid City”.
